Heather Garner - Core Process Psychotherapy

Heather Garner Core Process Psychotherapy

I bring to therapy a wealth of  experience and insight from over 30 years of working with people in the UK and overseas.

Social work, teaching pastoral care and managing and supporting a range of health, education and social programmes has helped me develop the maturity and skills to support people effectively. I have developed the capacity to work with intense  trauma, shock and loss informed by  my  work in Africa, Asia and Bosnia.

I have chosen to retrain in this approach as I find it to be the most holistic and respectful.

Now, living on Dartmoor, my inner resources are nourished through doing sculpture, keeping sheep and bees and walking.

How to find out if this is right for you:

A free 40 minute exploratory session is offered for you to find out more and to assess whether this therapy is for you.

  • Psychotherapy requires commitment, and it is therefore important to explore whether it is what you are looking for.
  • The session is used to discuss expectations, answer questions, and for both of us to get a sense that we can work together.
