Alida Epremian started her training in the Self-Healing method in 1995 under the supervision of Meir Schneider. Since then she has been working with this method for over 12 years with a variety of people with different conditions. She first worked on herself having suffered from an acute condition of sciatica where she was bed ridden. During her training Alida learnt to manage her condition and learnt gentle exercises to balance her body's innate power to heal itself. These exercises became integrated in her daily life and slowly she reaped the benefit. She became more conscious of her old habits that created this condition in the first place, and learnt the art of isolation which was not too a foreign idea as she was a belly dancing teacher. There she saw the parallel between her art form and Meir's teaching which was based on this isolation technique also.
Alida is very passionate about her work and is dedicated to working with Meir's Self-Healing method. She is one of the small but growing number of practitioners dedicated to working with this method in the UK
The School for Self-Healing is found in San Francisco. I was trained partly in England and partly in San Francisco.
The training program at the School for Self Healing satisfies the
American Massage Therapy Association's (AMTA) continuing education
requirements. The School for Self-Healing is approved by the National
Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB)
as a continuing education provider under Category A. Provider approved
by the
California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP 11868.
I became a member of CThA and have acquired a working insurance
here in England.
My aim is to work with my clients towards providing a foundation for a better quality of life with enhanced mobility and/or improved vision.
